Ehouse is a transitional living residence for women with children who have experienced homelessness, violence, and/or addiction. In addition to housing, services include education, employment, plus health and wellness resources. Ehouse accepts women with a maximum of 3 children ages 0 to 11 years old, depending on available space.
Eligibility Requirements
Women/girls, Single parent, Mothers, Experiencing homelessness, Domestic abuse survivor, Resident of Alameda County residents given priority., Must have a verifiable source of income. Domestic Violence: DV support and counseling must be in place, 6 mo since last contact with abuser. Substance Abuse: 6 mo min sober, participation in a residential treatment program, actively maintaining sobriety. No citizenship requirements.
Residents pay a monthly rent of 30% of their income. This includes utilities and most food costs.
