- MITES Saturdays: Join MITES Saturdays (formerly SEED Academy) to gain an exciting, challenging foundation in STEM through our multi-year program for 7th–12th graders in Boston, Cambridge, and Lawrence, MA public schools. Applicants should have a strong academic record and interest in science, engineering, and technology. There’s no minimum GPA required to apply, but students are expected to maintain letter grades of A and B to stay in the program.
- MITES Semester: Join MITES Semester (formerly MOSTEC) for a six-month, hybrid learning STEM and college preparation experience. Become part of an inspiring community of intelligent, motivated, like-minded peers—while building the skills and confidence you need for success. Running June through December, this national program will take you through engaging, rigorous online courses and weekly virtual webinars, social events, workshops, and meetings with peers in the fall. You’ll also benefit from college admissions counseling, and learn and network with STEM professionals.
- MITES Summer: Join MITES Summer (formerly MITES) for our six-week, on-campus program that immerses students from across the country in life at MIT. You’ll take five rigorous, rewarding math, science, and humanities courses—and discover all you can achieve. You’ll also participate in lab tours and social events, and benefit from college admissions counseling. This national program gives you firsthand insights into the value and reward of STEM degrees and careers, while also developing the academic and personal skills you need for success.
