FARMERS’ MARKET SAFETY GUIDELINES
As an essential service, the Mobile Farmers’ Market remains open. The following safety protocols have been put in place to keep our shoppers, farmers, and staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic:
OUR SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Fresh Approach is in very close and constant communication with local health departments for up-to-date details in the various communities in which we operate. We are following all alerts being offered by state and county-level health officials and are prepared to act accordingly.
Hand sanitizer is available for anyone to use before/after shopping.
Frequent cleaning of surfaces with disinfecting wipes and other standard cleaners before, during, and after the market.
One staff member will handle money, and another will handle produce.
While we love your reusable bags, they are a possible source of contamination. We will provide bags for all shoppers.
HOW SHOPPERS CAN HELP
To protect others, stay home if you are sick. To comply with local public safety regulations, shoppers must wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth while shopping at the farmers’ market.
Wash your hands often with soap & water for at least 20 seconds especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
Please maintain 6 feet of distance between staff members and other shoppers while shopping at the truck – only getting closer to complete purchases.
Shoppers may not touch produce or other products prior to purchase. Staff members will hand shoppers product or bag it for you.
Washing fruit and produce before consumption is recommended, as you would any time.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, or your elbow; do not sneeze or cough into your hands
