Davis Street operates four childcare centers in San Leandro, caring for 350 children daily, from age 2 years 9 months through fifth grade. Three of the Davis Street Centers are located at public elementary school sites.
Our commitment to the child extends to the family and to that end, we engage the parent(s) and caregivers, offering a variety of supportive service, both at the center and also at our Family Resource Center, located less than one mile away. This support includes: food, clothing, job training/placement, mental health, free medical care, educational/nutritional workshops and a holiday basket program.

We are licensed to care for 60 children, ages 2.9 to kinder entry. This center has limited private pay slots available. We are taking applications year-round for subsidized preschool. We serve a nutritional hot breakfast and lunch daily in addition to two snacks. We offer subsidized and non-subsidized slots-year round. 1190 Davis Street is currently enrolling both subsidized and non-subsidized full time and part-time preschoolers. Private Pay Full Time- 5 Days $725 monthly Part-Time 5 half days $462 monthly.

The center is licensed to care for 86 children, ages 2.9 to 12 years of age. This center has limited private pay slots available. We are taking applications year-round for subsidized childcare.
We pride ourselves on delivering quality enrichment activities that includes: Homework and Book Club. Recognizing that each child is unique, we strive to provide our services in a culturally and linguistically sensitive manner. From our specialized staff to our superior staff to child ratio, Jefferson offers quality care. Preschool age children receive a nutritional hot breakfast and lunch.
