• Detailed Information

  • We act as a link between government social service agencies and families. Child care subsidies/financial assistance programs are available for eligible families to assist with child care fees.
    

    
    We actively collect and evaluate current information about the emerging needs of the community and develop strategies to meet changing child care trends and regulations. Individual support and education are also are offered to child care providers, parents, and the community.

    Family Resources

    Hively utilizes a holistic, youth- and family-driven approach of wrapping vulnerable children and their families with the support systems and relevant resources they need to thrive. Based on input from our families, Hively offers the following wraparound resources and services: Diapers, Community closet: free clothing items, carseat safety checks, interactive programs. 
    

    Mental Health Services 

    With more than 20 dedicated therapists on staff, Hively provides affordable (sliding scale), high quality, professional counseling services for a variety of challenges affecting the emotional health and wellbeing of individuals, young and old, and their families. Hively clinicians are experienced Clinical Social Workers (CSW) and Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT).
    

    Seeking Childcare

    Need help finding child care? Hively assists families seeking child care by providing free child care referrals and information on available child care options in the Tri-Valley cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and Sunol.

    At Hively, we believe that every child deserves parents and caregivers who are confident and competent.  We offer a wide array of workshops and training to ensure that those responsible for caring for our next generation have the knowledge and skills they need.
