Provide occupational therapy, which aims to promote an individual's ability to executive activities of daily life. Some clients come looking for occupational therapy already having been down a long road of assessments and treatments. Others are still trying to figure out what is going on and what improvements can be made. Some have diagnoses, others do not. We start the journey with you, wherever you may be now.

SERVICES WE PROVIDE
Individualized Treatment Sessions
Typically a child is seen one time per week for a 50-minute session. We will determine at the initial meeting what the client goals are and how we might proceed to meet these goals. Each session is designed to meet the goals derived from the initial evaluation or screening, changing needs of the child, and parent/care-giver concerns.
Comprehensive OT evaluations
Standardized tests are used to evaluate gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual perpetual, self-help and developmental play skills. The results of the evaluation is used to established baselines and develop treatment goals, in collaboration with our clients and their families. Clients may be seen for a 2-hour session or two 1-hour sessions spread over two weeks for comprehensive evaluations.
OT Screening
When clients and their families are not sure what is going on and cannot put their finger on it, a screening for occupational therapy needs may help. This may take place over one or more sessions. Clinical observations are used to assess gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual perceptual, self-help and developmental play skills.
