Our team consists of neuropsychologists and pediatricians with advanced training in developmental medicine. We partner with families to assess their children and develop strategies to help patients with self-regulation, relationships with family members and peers, attention issues and academic performance. We may also address problems such as trouble following directions or learning daily routines, as well as sleep issues such as difficulty falling asleep, repeated waking at night and irregular sleep schedules.
At our Mission Bay location in San Francisco, we also offer neuropsychological assessment and consultation for patients who have brain development and function concerns caused by a medical condition or treatment.
At this time, we primarily offer consultations and refer patients to outside agencies for any additional testing or services we recommend. We refer patients with urgent psychiatric issues – such as psychosis, thoughts or plans of suicide, or a recent hospitalization for mental health – to appropriate psychiatric care.
