Teen and young adult health is the focus of the Adolescent Medicine. Our team looks at each teen and young adult as an individual and considers every aspect of their lives in order to address their unique medical and mental health issues. Board certified physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and specialists in health education and substance abuse provide primary and specialty care for youth, teenagers, and young adults ages 11-24. UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is a leader in providing adolescent medicine community-wide. We have three community health centers dedicated to providing comprehensive care, each of which serves as a national model for adolescent healthcare.
